The Theatre Group now focuses on productions at the Nottingham Playhouse which portrays a varied and exciting program. Plus we get an excellent reduction on seat prices and within the group we can also book and pay later. This enables Marianne to canvas the group to ask who wants to go and then reserve seats. Productions are advertised by email and WhatsApp to members of the group, with a deadline date for payment to be received.

On this basis the group doesn’t require a meeting and, as no meeting room is needed, new members are able to join the group.

Recent outing

In May, 25 of our group went to see Small Island at the Nottingham Playhouse. An adaption form the novel by Andrea Levy dealing with issues from Colonialism, WW2 and the Windrush generation. A thought provoking production as relevant today as it was at the time of its creation.
