Eastwood & District u3a is part of one of the largest membership organisations in the UK. The u3a is a UK-wide movement of over 1,000 locally run, autonomous charities for retired/semi-retired people, federated nationally by the Third Age Trust, through a regional structure in England and Countries for the rest of the United Kingdom. At Eastwood we are part of the Nottinghamshire Network of u3as, which in turn is part of the East Midlands Region u3as, which in turn is part of the National u3a.
