The Photography group was re-formed in January 2023 and has run successfully since.

Our group is a very friendly one with plenty of opportunity at each meeting for having a chat. The group consists of photographers from novices to the experienced and is not restricted to those with expensive cameras. Several members use their phones as the technology continually improves the quanlity of their photographs. Also experienced members of the group are always on hand to offer advice and assistance to any member who requests it.

At the meeting, members' photographs are shown on each of 2 chosen themes plus 2 from any outings that have taken place since the last meeting. From time to time short instructional talks are included.

The cost for members is £2.50 to include room hire, projector screen hire and tea/coffee/ with biscuits.

In addition to the monthly meetings, visits are arranged for members to join together to take photographs. These are usually fairly local but have on occasion been further afield such as a very popular visit to the National Memorial Arboretum.
