This group is designed to allow members to enjoy and learn about all aspects of nature both flora and fauna. Meetings will be outside on location generally at 10:30 am on the 4th Monday of the month. Additional longer outings will be arranged to visit more distant bird or nature reserves.
We hope that throughout the year members will be able to experience a variety of birds, butterflies, insects, wild flowers, fungi etc.
Forthcoming events
Our Nature Watch group was recently granted the privilege of visiting a privately managed wildlife conservation area. We were hosted by an entomologist whose specialized research into moths and butterflies extends over six decades. He imparted his extensive expertise and enduring passion, providing our members with an educational and rewarding experience.

Picture of a Painted Lady butterfly taken by our member Les during this visit.

Contrasting stunning images of a Bottle Fly and a Common Buzzard as encountered on our recent outing showing the beauty that can be seen at any distance.
